FaZe back in Top 3 after Pro League victory
Take a look at the latest changes in the HLTV World Rankings.
Karrigan’s men from FaZe Clan has made a stunning comeback by securing their first trophy in nine months at the ESL Pro League Season 17. This victory has propelled them to the No. 2 spot in the HLTV World Rankings and marked their return to the Top 3 since November. The Grand final match was a spectacle to behold as they defeated Cloud9, which is one of the toughest teams in competition right now. The victory saw them take home $200,000 in prize earnings, but also secure the fourth season of the Intel Grand Slam title and the $1 million prize to its name.
The team’s last tournament victory was at IEM Cologne 2022 in July, where they won the title after a thrilling final against s1mple and company from NAVI.
Apart from FaZe’s rise to the Top 3, there were also some other notable changes. ENCE found their way into the Top 10 for the first time since August, while Virtus.pro returned to the list due to their bans from ESL and BLAST getting lifted.
