Eternal Fire have just claimed their biggest accolade yet by winning the $500.000 event CCT Global Finals this Thursday evening. In the title decider, the Turkish side took down the star-studded Liquid in a thrilling best-of-five grand final which ended 3-1 in the favour of Engin “MAJ3R” Küpeli and company.

The stand-out performer for Eternal Fire was once again the always hard-shooting Ismailcan 'XANTARES' Dörtkardeş, who ended the match with 77 kills and a stellar 1.33 rating, giving Liquid a hard time on all four maps.

XANTARES also ended up as the highest-rated player in the tournament. His strong performance helped Eternal Fire defeat the likes of GamerLegion, BetBoom, SAW, PARIVISION and lastly Liquid on their route to the title, in which they only dropped two maps overall.
