ESL unveil 2022 Pro Tour for CS:GO
The 2022 ESL Pro Tour will host over 25 events during the calendar year.
ESL has just revealed significant changes to the ESL Pro Tour structure, mainly revolving around the expansion of EPL and the way teams secure their spot for the tournament. ESL has also revealed the tournament calendar for the rest of the year and for 2022.
In 2022, every single event in the Pro Tour structure has been brought under the ESL brand, which means tournaments like DreamHack Open will be renamed to ESL Challenger and ESEA Premier will be called the ESL Challenger League.
The organizers have also shared information about the IEM Rio Major which is currently under consideration with Valve for 2022 after the 2020 Rio Major were cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
