ESL Pro League will not feature its playoff on LAN
Covid-19 and its consequences have put a stop to one more LAN event on the CS:GO calendar.
The prominent tournament organized by ESL has scrapped their plans regarding a playoff played on LAN, the tournament organizers have announced on Twitter. Intentionally, the plan was to hold the last stage of the tournament in Malta on a LAN environment.
- “Due to the travel restrictions and quarantine regulations still in place throughout Europe, we are unable to execute upon our intentions to host the EPL Playoffs on LAN in Malta.” – ESL statement.
The 13th season of ESL Pro League will once again present a star-studded lineup of teams, with the best and most up-and-coming players in the world of CS:GO. From March 8th - April 11th, teams like Astralis, Vitality, NAVI and the rest of the elite will fight each other for the staggering $750.000 prize pool.
