ENCE reveals new head coach
There's a new man in charge after the benching of Jakub "kuben" Gurczyński last month.
ENCE has appointed Niclas "enkay J" Krumhorn as the new head coach for their main team, following the departure of Jakub "kuben" Gurczyński just nine days ago. The 35-year-old German steps in at a difficult time for ENCE, with the team currently far from their previous top-tier performance.
Failing to qualify for the upcoming RMR ahead of the Shanghai Major seemed to be the final blow to kuben's time with the team. enkay J, who has previously coached teams like ALTERNATE aTTaX, Sprout, BIG, and Entropiq, brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
ENCE General Manager Niklas "Willkey" Ojalainen commented on the appointment, saying:
- I'm happy to have my namesake as the next coach for our CS team. Niclas was the strongest candidate for the position, and I find his experience in multiple roles, such as IGL, analyst, and coach, extremely valuable. With that in mind, he can utilize all the tools and power we can harness. Coming from a German work environment, he has a good starting point for bringing more structure into our team.
ENCE are now:
Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander
Kacper "Kylar" Walukiewicz
Krzysztof "Goofy" Górski
Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev
Paavo "podi" Heiskanen
