ENCE replaces profiled duo with sdy and podi
“We were forced to make changes,” the organization states.
ENCE has made a significant overhaul of their active roster, replacing Paweł "dycha" Dycha and AWPer Olek "hades" Miskiewicz with Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev and Paavo "podi" Heiskanen.
The latter was already a part of the Finnish organization, with the 19-year-old AWPer having represented ENCE Academy for over a year, while sdy joins the gla1ve-led roster from free agency.
The roster change comes after a long period of disappointing results for ENCE, despite the acquisition of the 9INE core earlier this year.
“We need a TEAM”
Head coach of ENCE, Jakub "kuben" Gurczyński, has touched on the recent decision stating that they gave this lineup many chances but they were “forced to make changes”.
“(…) my sporting ambition does not allow me to accept the lack of progression. We gave this team many chances and tried to solve ongoing problems in every possible way, but unfortunately, things didn't click in this setup. The aura built on the Katowice run quickly passed, and frustration grew in each of us.
Our players are great individuals, but we need a TEAM to win systematically. Bring back the joy and do it with passion. The environment players create together should be fun; lately, we’ve lost that spark. At this point, we are forced to make changes,” kuben has said in a statement.
