EliGE: "I've been a really consistent player throughout my whole career"
"EliGE" isn’t shy of giving himself the praise he deserves after many years of performing consistently
North American Counter-Strike has always been a topic within the professional CS:GO scene. The region was the laughingstock at first and fans from all over the world would make fun of the North American teams and players for not being up to par with the European rosters. As time has advanced the North American region still remains troubled when competing against the European and CIS regions, however, there have been and still is a lot of good North American players - perhaps more now than ever.
In an interview posted on Rivalry CSGO's Youtube channel, Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski is asked to name his top 5 North American players of all time. Whilst many players are reluctant of giving themselves the praise they deserve, "EliGE" is not. After naming four of his previous teammates from his long spell at Team Liquid he is finally left with the number one spot. Without too much hesitation he points towards himself as the best North American player in CS:GO's history:
"And then for my first pick. I am going to pick myself here, I think that I have just been a really consistent player throughout my whole career. I think that I have consistently gotten better, not only in-game but also as a teammate. I am pretty happy with my development where it has been a pretty consistent line up in terms of being a good team-player and a good player in general."
