Disaster! No Major for s1mple and Falcons
Falcons have been sent home from Shanghai with a bang losing 2-1 to GamerLegion.
The catastrophe is a reality.
Falcons have failed to qualify for their second consecutive Counter-Strike Major, as they have been eliminated from the European RMR this Tuesday morning.
That also means there will be no Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev on the server at the Shanghai Major.
The fatal blow came at the hands of GamerLegion in the high-stakes elimination match, where we saw the youngsters secure a 2-1 victory, handing Falcons their third loss in the qualifier.
GamerLegion’s Timur 'FL4MUS' Marev was without the standout player during the match, with the 20-year-old rifler causing Falcons massive problems round after round. He ended the series with a 1.31 rating
As Falcons exit the RMR, GamerLegion’s Major dreams continue as they will take on SINNERS tomorrow in the fight for a spot in the $1.25 million tournament.
