CS:GO dataminer on Source 2: Don’t expect something unreal
Fans have been eagerly anticipating the game’s upcoming release on Source 2.
Maxim Gabe Follower Polatev, a known CS:GO dataminer and content creator, recently took to Twitter to urge fans of the game not to expect too much from the release of CS:GO on Source 2. He pointed out that while the engine upgrade will certainly make the game work better and make it easier to develop new content, it may not necessarily result in noticeable improvements to the game’s graphics or gameplay.
It's important to remember that the primary goal of the engine upgrade is to make the game more efficient and easier to work with for both the developers and the community. This will enable the game’s creators to continue developing new content for the game, which will ultimately benefit the players.
While there has been speculation that the upgrade to Source 2 will result in major improvements to the game’s graphics and gameplay, Maxim’s statement suggest that this may not necessarily be the case. He warned fans not to get too caught up in the hype surrounding the engine upgrade and to keep their expectations in check.
