Skins are virtual items with cosmetic modifications that players can use while in the game. These skins can only be found or reached through in-game drops, purchasing them on the Steam market, or most notably trading with players on social media or different platforms.
Recently, the biggest public sale of all time came out in the news. The skin was sold for an incredible $160,000. The impressive skin is called "Wild Lotus" and is one of the most sought-out skins you can find in the steam community. There are less than 3,000 in existence and even fewer in factory new. The price of a wild lotus in factory new is around $10,000, however, this particular skin was sold for more than $150.000 due to the rare stickers that are applied on the legendary AK-47 skin.
The rare stickers that are applied to the weapon are four Reason Holo stickers from the 2014 Katowice capsule. Each of the small stickers is worth around $40.000 and will bring the value of the skin up to a stunning price of $150.000. The buyer is a Chinese collector who is known for his top-tier skins in CS:GO.
