Cloud9 has been sent packing from the Perfect World Shanghai Major after a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Complexity on Monday morning.
The loss marks the end of Cloud9’s run in China, leaving them with a 1-3 score in the Opening Stage and without a single Bo3 victory in the tournament.
The elimination series unfolded on Vertigo and Ancient, where Complexity showcased a strong performance on the server. Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski was the driving force behind Complexity’s success, delivering an outstanding 1.39 average rating across the two maps.
In contrast, Cloud9’s key player, Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko, struggled to make an impact throughout the match.
