Canadian org releases CS2 roster starring roeJ and nicoodoz
The Danish lineup is now free on the market going into the 2025 season.
Gaimin Gladiators has decided to pull the plug on their current Counter-Strike squad, the organization confirmed yesterday evening.
The team, a fully Danish stack led by former CPH Flames duo Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi and Fredrik “roeJ” Jørgensen, struggled to find their footing on the server throughout 2024, failing to deliver any noteworthy results during their tenure.
Joining nicoodoz and roeJ in free agency are Magnus "Nodios" Olsen, Jonas "Queenix" Dideriksen, and Tobias "kraghen" Kragh Jensen, as well as benched players Patrick “Patti” Larsen and Jason “salazar” Salazar.
The announcement also confirms a report by HLTV from two days ago, which hinted at the disbandment of Gaimin Gladiators’ CS2 roster.
The Canadian organization explained their decision in an official statement:
- This is not an easy decision, as we part ways with the talented individuals who have been true professionals. This decision reflects a shift in our focus as we explore new directions to position the organization for long-term success, they wrote.
Gaimin Gladiators entered Counter-Strike in April last year with the acquisition of ECSTATIC’s lineup. While this chapter comes to a close, the organization remains committed to fielding a Counter-Strike team, as confirmed in their press release.
