The world-famous Eiffel Tower in Paris was the setting when BLAST Premier this Wednesday invited the esports press to a press conference about the upcoming BLAST.tv Paris Major this May.
Under the French monument, BLAST Premier CEO Robbie Douek and CIO Nicolas Estrup revealed several important pieces of information about the $1.25 Million CS:GO tournament. Here are some key takeaways.
The locations for the three regional qualifiers will take place in the following cities:
- Americas RMR - Monterrey, Mexico
- Asia RMR - Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
- European RMR - Copenhagen, Denmark

Furthermore, BLAST confirmed that the audio commentary inside the Accor Arena will be cast in English, and that they haven’t figured out whether or not the Challengers and Legends stages will be played in front of a crowd.
