BLAST suffer massive viewership drop from last year’s Fall Final
The viewership of this year’s Fall Final dropped by more than 50% compared to last year’s event.
The analytical service Esports Charts has published the viewership statistics of BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022 which concluded on Sunday. According to the report, we can see that the grand final between Heroic and FaZe had a peak of 421.711 viewers and was the most-watched match during the event.
Compared to last year’s Fall Final which peaked at 861.383 viewers, the viewership of this year’s event dropped by more than 50%.
This is quite shocking for the Counter-Strike scene, however, we shouldn’t start worrying too much about it, as the reason for the massive drop could possibly be because of the Football World Cup that is taking place in Qatar with matches that were being played at the same time of the BLAST Premier Fall Final grand final.
