Check out the new format and learn about the RMR qualifier in the official video released by BLAST.
BLAST has revealed the qualification system for the upcoming Paris Major, set to take place in May 2023. The event, which will be held on French soil, will feature 24 of the top teams from around the world and a massive prize pool.
Valve has made changes to the qualification process, including the implementation of the new Regional Standings ranking system. This system takes into account a team's prize pool winnings, the strength of their opponents, and their head-to-head results. The top teams from each region's Regional Standings will receive invitations to the closed qualifiers, and the standings will be updated on a regular basis until the start of the open qualifiers.
