BLAST heads to Southeast Asia for this year’s $1 million World Final
No Abu Dhabi for the World Final this year.
BLAST has announced that Singapore will host this year’s BLAST Premier World Final, marking a new direction for the prestigious tournament, which features a massive $1,000,000 prize pool.
Previously, the event was held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, in both 2022 and 2023.
James Woolard, Director of Market Development at BLAST, expressed his excitement:
- We are incredibly excited to bring two of the biggest esports titles to this vibrant destination. Over the next 18 months, Singapore will become a major hub for esports in Southeast Asia, and with the support of the Singapore Tourism Board, we look forward to delivering unforgettable experiences for fans while helping to build a thriving esports ecosystem in the region.
In addition to the BLAST Premier World Final, Singapore is also set to host the BLAST Dota Slam in 2025, a major Dota 2 tournament.
The BLAST Premier World Final will take place from October 30 to November 3, with the following teams already securing their spots for the Singapore-based event.
