Astralis bring in former star athlete to its performance team
The iconic CS:GO organization is making moves both inside and outside the server going into next year.
When Astralis initiate 2023 it is with a clear “focus and strong faith in the future”, the CEO of the Danish organization, Anders Hørsholt, explains in a statement.
The statement comes in correlation with the announcement of two new signings to Astralis’ performance team in the attempt of modernizing and reworking the organization. By bringing in Jan Ø Jørgensen, a former professional badminton player, and B.S. Christiansen, Hørsholt believes that the team will “benefit significantly”.
- [We] have come a long way with the work around a modernization of the organization and a revitalization of the team. We enter 2023 with a clear structure and framework and a roster designed to deliver on our performance expectations.
- Peter “casle” Ardenskjold and the team will significantly benefit from our expanded and strengthened performance team. We associate B. S. Christiansen and Jan Ø Jørgensen with the latter as a permanent man around the teams. Jan has been part of the work with our talent team, and he will now be full-time around our central teams, Hørsholt explains.
