Alliance reveal Academy Team
The organization has entered competitive CS:GO with a Swedish academy team.
The European esports organization, Alliance, who are mostly known for its Dota 2 team has now taken its first step into competitive CS:GO with an academy team called The Alliance: Boberg. It’s a collaboration between Alliance and Bobergsgymnasiet where young esports athletes can make their dreams come true.
“Alliance has a strong tradition of developing up and coming players into champions of the now and future. Together with Boberg we would be able to support, explore and redefine youth development in modern esports. This will be the first of many youth development programs we will be participating in and we can be proud of continuing our tradition of supporting player development and also grassroots esports.” – Kelly Ong Xiao Wei – Chief Strategy Officer at Alliance.
Boberg esports will be supporting the academy roster with team training, mental training, and physical training to ensure they have a more long-term and successful career in esports. With its massive experience, the school will also teach them about esports outside of the server.
The Academy Team will consist of the following players:
