Alleged cheaters on trial at EC Kyiv
Two former Akuma players have found their way to the Ukrainian roster on a temporary deal for now.
Esports Club Kyiv has announced that Dmytro "SENSEi" Shvorak and Evhen "j3kie" Serhachev joined the team on a trial period, despite the Ukrainian duo having a severe cheating investigation over their heads.
SENSEi and j3kie were both a part of the infamous Akuma roster that rose to fame after being accused of cheating at EPIC CIS League RMR last year. Here they took down NAVI and Virtus.pro to seal the third place overall. You can learn more about the scandal in the article below.
EC Kyiv currently competes at Elisa Invitational 2022. Here they are set to debut the new roster tomorrow, with their first two matches having ended 2-1 against Sinners and 0-2 against Team Finest.
