All-star match at IEM Rio Major revealed
The so-called “Legends Clash” will feature Brazilian and Swedish legends on the stage!
The organizers of the IEM Rio Major 2022 have announced that a show match will be held between the national teams of Sweden and Brazil. The “Legends Clash” will kick off on November 13, on the final day of the Rio Major, before the start of the Grand final.
It’s yet unknown who will participate as players for Sweden and Brazil, as ESL hasn’t revealed any names yet. However, given the number of Majors that the two countries have won over the years, CS:GO fans should expect to see some legendary players on the stage. Both countries share a great history in Counter-Strike that goes all the way back to the CS 1.6 days. Back in the CS 1.6 days, Sweden and Brazil were notable rivals and some of the best players in the world at the time represented fnatic and SK Gaming on the biggest stage of Counter-Strike.
IEM Rio Major 2022 will run from Oct. 31 to Nov. 13 and will feature 24 CS:GO teams fighting for the lion’s share of the $1.25M prize pool.
