acoR contradicts expert about crowd influence: You hear EVERYTHING
The loud Brazilian crowd has been the talk of the town so far at IEM Rio - for better or worse.
At the ongoing IEM Rio Major, there has been a lot of talk and discussion about how the crowd inside the Riocentro arena has interfered with the game by shouting crucial information to the players.
To such an extent that ESL felt compelled to remove the minimap and x-ray vision during yesterday’s match between Cloud9 and the home favourites from Imperial in order to protect the integrity of the tournament, Shaun Clark, ESL Senior Director of Game Ecosystems for CS:GO has stated.
Following the episode and discussions, caster and analyst, Jason “Moses” O’Toole went to Twitter saying that people should “stop asking for sound proof booths” and that “the players “can't distinguish words with this audio set up”.
Something, GamerLegion’s Frederik “acoR” Gyldstrand contradict completely in a response to the North American, after having played on the stage with the exact audio setup.
