ZywOo takes Pro League MVP award and breaks s1mple’s record

The French superstar has surpassed his long-standing rival.

Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut has now claimed more MVP awards than any other player in Counter-Strike history.

The French superstar secured his record-breaking 22nd MVP medal this Sunday at ESL Pro League Season 21, surpassing his long-time rival Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, who previously held the record with 21 MVP titles.

Dominant grand final

ZywOo’s latest achievement comes after yet another dominant tournament run, where he led Vitality to a commanding 3-0 sweep over MOUZ in the Grand Final.

The series was a one-sided affair, with MOUZ failing to reach double digits on any map, as Vitality outclassed them on Dust2, Nuke, and Inferno.
