The Mongolian roster is in shambles two months after signing replacements for their two stars.
The MongolZ’s new recruits from July 2026, Zolbayar “tikuak” Chimedtseren and Dugarsuren “DarkMeister” Ireedui, have been suddenyl benched after only two months into their tenure.
This change comes after less than two weeks since The MongolZ announced their last roster move, with Anarbileg “cobrazera” Uuganbayar replacing Sodbayar “Techno” Munkhbold for FISSURE Season 3.
The latter tournament was disastrous for the MongolZ, losing to a fellow Mongolian team, 5star, ranked #74 in the world on the VRS, to be eliminated from the tournament.
House of cards collapses after Senzu and mzinho removal
Ayush ‘mzinho’ Batbold and Azbayar ‘Senzu’ Munkhbold were part of the historic The Mongolz squad that reached a Major final in 2025. They also won the Esports World Cup that year, defeating Team Vitality en route.
Bad news came in late 2025, when The MongolZ suddenly benched Senzu, their highest-performing player. While The MongolZ sustained respectable results temporarily with cobrazera, it came crashing down this year as mzinho left the team to re-join Senzu on BC.Game.
