Spirit take down Eternal Fire despite slow start from donk

Team Spirit secured a spot in the ESL Pro League Season 21 semifinals after a 2-0 victory over Eternal Fire, overcoming a slow start from their star player, Danil "donk" Kryshkovets.

Team Spirit secured a spot in the ESL Pro League Season 21 semifinals after a 2-0 victory over Eternal Fire, overcoming a slow start from their star player, Danil “donk” Kryshkovets. Despite struggling early on, donk eventually found his rhythm, helping Spirit close out the series with a dominant performance.

Spirit dominate despite early struggles

The opening map on Anubis saw Eternal Fire put up a strong fight, taking an early lead as donk struggled to make an impact. However, Spirit’s tactical play and solid teamwork allowed them to regain control, with Boris “magixx” Vorobiev stepping up to deliver crucial rounds. They closed out Anubis 13-9 before heading into Nuke.

After a rough start, donk bounced back in the second map, showcasing the aggressive playstyle that has made him one of the most talked-about players in CS2. Spirit shut down Eternal Fire’s attempts to mount a comeback, securing Nuke 13-6 and sealing the series 2-0.

Next challenge: EPL semifinals

With this win, Spirit advance to the EPL semifinals, where they will face tougher competition. Meanwhile, Eternal Fire’s run comes to an end despite showing promise throughout the tournament.
