Spirit and Vitality take convincing wins in IEM Rio quarterfinals

tN1R and ZywOo stole the show, with the former finally breaking through and the latter dropping his usual 30-bomb.

Spirit finding their form

After a disappointing start to the year, Spirit seem to have turned the page after their humbling 0-2 loss to Falcons.

They’re on a 6-map win streak, with tN1R topping the scoreboard in their last two matches. Donk is still there, winning opening duels that Spirit is managing to convert.

MOUZ, rumored to change captains after this event, didn’t stand a chance. They move to 5-9 in playoff maps this year (excluding 3rd-4th matches) and continue to stagnate.

ZywOo erases NAVI

Pegged as a worthy challenger to Vitality by some, the greatest CS2 team mopped the floor with the Ukrainian organization today.

ZywOo was unplayable on NAVI’s pick of Mirage, which Aleksib even acknowledged after the game. He went 30-7 on Vitality’s revenge tour in Rio, with the ESL Grand Slam on the line.

Vitality closed out on Dust2, where they continue to dominate since signing ropz in early 2025.
