molodoy saves FURIA from early elimination at Bounty

FURIA clawed back the decider to beat FUT, Vitality took care of EYEBALLERS.

The Kazakh AWPer had to get 63 kills over three maps to drag FURIA to Malta. They were facing FUT, a young team whose core used to be that of NAVI Junior last year.

FURIA were down 5-9 on the decider map, after stealing Anubis from FUT, but being completely destroyed on Overpass. It was Danil ‘molodoy’ Golubenko to save them from missing the first playoffs of the year, getting 100 ADR on the final map, closing out on CT side.

Tricky Anubis matches for the favorites

The late addition of Anubis into the map pool by Valve has already had an impact on the highest level of play. Vitality barely defeated EYEBALLERS on the map 19-16, currently ranked #30 in the world by the VRS.

Vitality closed out there and then took home their pick of Overpass, not without difficulties. They fell behind on T side and mounted a stellar CT side to quell a thirsty EYEBALLERS team.

Both of the best teams of 2025 made it through the online stage, through perhaps FURIA shouldn’t have. Will they bring their best once again into the LAN Finals in Malta?
