Kl1m was the star of G2’s academy side, posting a 1.25 rating over the last 3 months.
MiBR have gone in a similar direction to compatriot team FURIA. Benching long-time AWPer Rafael ‘saffee’ Costa, they have decided to give a prospect from Eastern Europe a chance in his stead.
Hoping that he can be the next Danil ‘molodoy’ Golubenko, the Brazilian organization that has existed since 2003 has gambled on Klimentii ‘kl1m’ Krivosheev.
Statistical upgrade
He is an on-paper upgrade over saffee, who has only put up a subpar 0.87 rating over the last 3 months.
On the G2 Ares side, kl1m posted a 1.25 rating over the last 3 months with an 98/100 firepower. It has yet to be seen what he is capable of in tier-one play, but G2 Ares have only let him go on loan.
Another Brazilian team goes international
This will move MiBR away from being a Portuguese-speaking team, and will follow the likes of FURIA, paiN Gaming and Imperial among others who have also borrowed or signed international players.
