Former Counter-Strike coach Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunovic called out Metizport on X after the organization’s account replied to a user on X with a line that many read as a national dig at Serbia.
Metizport’s account replied to a user about their coach Ahmed “abdi” Abdi, writing:

The reply appeared to target a Serbian user who questioned why Abdi’s nationality was highlighted. The response from Metizport was probably only meant to be a funny response to defend their coach, but the phrasing landed as a jab at Serbia for a lot of readers.
Since the post from Metizport, kassad fired back with several posts condemning the organization’s social media manager calling the person an “imbecil” and “racist.”
In other posts on X, kassad doubled down, tagging Metizport’s sponsors and saying that the person behind the Metizport account doesn’t have 16 brain cells.
The whole ordeal started after Metizport announced that their coach Ahmed “abdi” Abdi would be stepping away from the team from December 1st.
Metizport has not made any official announcements on the criticism from kassad and other Serbians on X.
