What Friday is worth in the Major race
Europe has 18 places in Singapore. JiJieHao are 18th in Europe in HLTV’s live version of Valve’s standings, right on the line, but HLTV’s projections expect them to slip to around 25th by the invite cut-off on 2 November, as rivals are expected to gain more in the matches ahead.
After the BC.Game win on Thursday night, Mischief put JiJieHao’s chances at 22% on X.
HLTV’s projections, updated on Friday morning, are less generous. They give JiJieHao a 4.4% chance of an invite. A win over Eternal Fire lifts that to 11.7%, while a loss rules them out.
| Team | Major chance now | If JiJieHao win | If Eternal Fire win |
|---|---|---|---|
JiJieHao | 4.4% | 11.7% | Out |
Eternal Fire | 4.3% | 1.9% | 10.4% |
| SINNERS | 4.1% | 6.1% | 3.1% |
FaZe | 76.3% | 70.5% | 78.3% |
The simulator does not yet let users pick the grand final, so the value of the title itself is not in those numbers. JiJieHao also have HyperX Retake Season 13 in Lisbon from 29 October, which ends the day before the cut-off.
Eternal Fire have already beaten JiJieHao once this month. The two met in the ROG JOURNEY Autumn 2026 semi-final in Skövde on 3 October, where Eternal Fire won 2-1.
Eternal Fire and SINNERS
Eternal Fire reached the upper bracket final by beating INFINITE, Basement Boys and BC.Game, the last of those with a 19-17 double overtime win on Cache. On Thursday, SINNERS beat them 2-1 in a series where both of the last two maps went to overtime.
Eternal FireMirage 10-13, Cache 16-14, Ancient 19-16stressarN led SINNERS with a 1.23 rating, ahead of SHOCK on 1.18. jottAAA was Eternal Fire’s best player at 1.22, while the rest of the team finished between 0.96 and 1.00.
SINNERS have not dropped a series in the playoffs. They beat SAW 2-0, HEROIC 2-1 and JiJieHao 2-0 before the upper bracket final, and they have been waiting since Thursday night while their opponents play a third best-of-three in two days. SHOCK was the best player in the semi-final against JiJieHao with a 1.37 rating. In HLTV’s projections, SINNERS are at 4.1%.
BC.Game are safe despite s1mple’s off night
BC.Game left Bucharest in fourth place with $3,500, but their Major place was not at stake. They play in the Asian part of Valve’s standings, and HLTV’s projections list them as clinched, second in Asia behind The MongolZ. Dust2.dk reported a 98.7% chance from HLTV straight after the FaZe win. What the loss to JiJieHao cost them is seeding. On Thursday morning, HLTV’s projections had BC.Game starting the Major in Stage 2 in 13.8% of simulations. On Friday morning that figure is 1.8%.
s1mple went 40-28 with a 1.12 rating against FaZe. Later the same evening, against JiJieHao, he finished 26-31 with a 0.79 rating and 53.0 ADR, the lowest on the server. Magisk and Senzu were the only BC.Game players to reach 1.00.
