Spirit has decided to skip several top-tier tournaments so far this year, including PGL Cluj-Napoca, PGL Bucharest, and most recently IEM Melbourne.
Missing these prestigious events is seemingly not something that pleases Spirit’s superstar Danil “donk” Kryshkovets. In fact, he says he hates it.
Something the Russian prodigy explained in a short broadcast interview ahead of BLAST Rivals Season 1.
– I hate it [missing events]. I want to play all tournaments. But we’re a team and it’s about five persons, so you can’t say: “Guys, let’s play all tournaments.” Because my teammates or me as well can feel bad. I’m fine with it, but honestly, I hate it. But what can I do?

– It’s been a balance – a little bit of relaxing and a bit of practising. It has been all about fixing our stuff.
Spirit has already kicked off their campaign at BLAST Rivals Season 1 in Copenhagen. In the early matchup today, the Russians face FlyQuest.
