YaLLa Esports has entered bankruptcy proceedings, according to a report from HLTV, effectively bringing its tournament series, YaLLa Compass, to a halt. The news follows a vague but telling post on the company’s official X account, where it stated:
The announcement, along with HLTV’s report, follows earlier setbacks for the project. Most notably, YaLLa Compass Qatar was moved online and its prize pool was cut in half due to scheduling conflicts with the BLAST.tv Austin Major qualifiers.
Now, the fate of YaLLa Compass UAE, which was scheduled to take place in Dubai from November 19–23, remains up in the air. While no official cancellation has been announced, the tournament’s future looks bleak.
