Despite switching to IGL, the Serbian still put up a precise 1v3 clutch against Team Liquid.

Despite switching to IGL, the Serbian still put up a game-winning 1v3 clutch against Team Liquid.

G2 beat Liquid in a three-map nailbiter

These two massive esports organizations went head-to-head to qualify to the main stage of IEM Krakow.

G2, ranked #10 in the world by HLTV, took on a Team Liquid playing with a substitute.

Liquid picked Mirage, and it was just that for them, as Nemanja ‘huNter-‘ Kovač capped off the map with a brutal 1v3 clutch to remember this year.

The second map was a complete reversal, as Liquid took G2’s map pick of Inferno this time. Jonathan ‘EliGE’ Jablonowski started the map with an absurd 4k with the Dual Elites, and helped secure an 11-1 half for Liquid.

The third map of Anubis was a contested affair where the respective terrorist sides were explosive. Roland ‘ultimate’ Tomkowiak gave his absolute best to win the map, winning two 1v2s, but it slipped away in overtime.

G2 Esports proceed to the main stage of IEM Krakow 2026, while Liquid must play FUT to qualify.

BC.Game, AURORA annihilated despite promising Day 1

Oleksandr ‘s1mple’ Kostyliev and company were nowehere to be found as 3DMAX silenced them.

António ‘aragornN’ Barbosa and Christopher ‘MUTiRiS’ Fernandes were especially appaling, managing only 15 kills between the both of them over two maps.

Lucas ‘Lucky’ Chastang had a field day, going +24 in K/D as 3DMAX beat them 13-4 and 13-3 on Overpass and Anubis.

AURORA was equally disappointing – even though they won their own map pick, they got only 7 terrorist rounds over a three-map series.

PARIVISION exploited their grouped up, simplistic attacks, and gave them the business on Dust2 and Mirage, 13-5 and 13-4. As usual, Anubis was the only saving grace for the Turks, winning the map handidly 13-5.

Liquid, BC.Game and Aurora fight for their life tomorrow
