HEROIC reverse sweeps TYLOO to eliminate them

TYLOO stomach elimination after a close series where they took HEROIC’s map pick.

Heroic defeated TYLOO 2-1 to live to fight another day at Austin. They will have a match tomorrow to see if they will qualify for the final stage of the Major.

JamYoung powers TYLOO through Ancient

The series started on the favorites’ map pick, as HEROIC justified it by picking up 8 T rounds to start.

The international team performed stronger across the board, and were the first to reach 12 rounds. However, JamYoung kept TYLOO alive long enough for the rest of the team to show up.

TYLOO made quick work of HEROIC in overtime, taking it 16-12.

JamYoung dropped a 30-bomb to steal map 1.

Mirage, picked by TYLOO, favors HEROIC

TYLOO couldn’t opt for their most picked map, Inferno, as it was instantly banned by HEROIC.

They opted for Mirage instead, where HEROIC have a 70% win-rate, and where HEROIC found their groove.

The half ended 6-6, which looked good for TYLOO, but momentum shifted the other way at half-time for HEROIC.

Taking an 11-7 lead, the game was close to going to Train.

TYLOO, once again, made a comeback at the closing stages of Mirage. However, HEROIC recovered well with yxngstxr top fragging.

HEROIC takes a chaotic Train on their way to victory

TYLOO and HEROIC started with force-buy wars early on Train, which HEROIC decidedly won.

With the economic advantage, they got up to 8 rounds at the half, despite some very close calls, including a 1v2 from SunPayus won by the bomb timer.

TYLOO won the pistol and converted this time, so it was not going to be an easy win for HEROIC. Nonetheless, they took control of the rounds, stopping TYLOO’s aggression, and stayed alive in Austin.
