Heading into 2025, Vitality announced the benching of their star rifler, Lotan “Spinx” Giladi, as they welcomed Robin “ropz” Kool to their roster.
While the off-season saw a flurry of high-profile moves across the Counter-Strike scene, Spinx has yet to secure a new home.
One week into the new season, the Israeli rifler remains on Vitality’s bench—a situation analyst Alex “Mauisnake” Ellenberg sees as concerning for the 24-year-old.
Where can he go?
In the latest episode of Snake and Banter, Mauisnake shared his thoughts on Spinx’s situation, emphasizing the limited opportunities available despite the player’s talent.
– Why is Spinx not connected to a team right now? I don’t know why he’s just sitting on the waiver wire, Mauisnake says.
The analyst continues:
– I don’t know where he goes right now. Weird but okay fits would be MOUZ, but I don’t see how they’re going to break up their core. Another one would probably be Falcons, but again they kind of need to keep their core.
– And if you go beyond that, we’re now outside of the top 10 teams. Yes, Spinx had his deficiencies personally and probably on CT side, but he definitely deserves a top 10 team, Mauisnake concludes.
