G2 outclass FURIA to make BLAST London Finals

G2 Esports took on FURIA Esports in the second semi-final of the BLAST Open London 2025.

FURIA came in as the theoretical favorite, having qualified directly to the semi-final, but proved to be anything but. G2 Esports had control of the series throughout and closed it out in 2-0 fashion.

SunPayus revival

The 1.04-rated AWPer had a resurrection in this match, even hyping up the crowd during the match.

But on Inferno, Nikita ‘HeavyGod’ Martynenko was the standout, butchering FURIA on their CT-side. G2’s pick which they won against FaZe yesterday, they repeated the dominant scoreline of 13-5.

On Mirage, FURIA’s pick, it was huNter- to take over the map this time. FURIA didn’t stand a chance and once again got 5 rounds in the map.

Alvaro ‘SunPayus’ García was consistent throughout, and earned the highest rating of the series.
