FURIA survive HEROIC challenge despite slow start

Despite the Brazilians struggling, molodoy has been the light in the dark for them.

Despite the Brazilians struggling, molodoy has been the light in the dark for them.

HEROIC took on FURIA in the quarter-finals of BLAST Bounty.

HEROIC selected FURIA in the draft, and looked keen to make good on their challenge. Linus ‘nilo’ Bergman was fantastic in the opening map of Mirage, helping seal a comprehensive 13-3 win over FURIA.

However, in the following maps, Danil ‘molodoy’ Golubenko kicked into a whole other level that HEROIC could not contend with.

The Kazakh sniper was selected as the 6th best player of 2025 by HLTV, and he did not disappoint here. He was the top fragger on every map of the series, except for Mirage, where he was just 3 kills behind nilo.

molodoy also had a fantastic group stage, where FURIA barely got past lower tier opposition. It’s left to be seen how far he can carry one of the favorites at the Bounty.
