NRG with daps standing in beat down NiP on Overpass while Fluxo upset GamerLegion on Nuke. The two teams go 1-0 in the swiss stage and a big step on their way to reaching stage 2.

NIP vs NRG (Overpass)

NIP won the pistol and the follow-up, but NRG struck back immediately with four straight rounds to take a 4-2 lead. Even with daps standing in for nitr0, NRG looked solid and calmly extended their advantage to 5-2.

Two rounds from NIP nearly broke NRG’s economy, but not completely, and the teams traded rounds until NRG held a narrow 6-5 lead. The final round of the half went to NIP, who punished NRG’s aggressive monster rush to make it 6-6 at the break.

NRG opened the second half with a clean pistol and converted both follow-ups to move ahead 9-6. Three quick and confident rounds followed, giving them a dominant 12-6 lead and match point. NIP stopped the run briefly to make it 12-7, but it wasn’t enough. NRG closed the map 13-7 off a br0 masterclass, finishing with a 22-9 scoreline.

GamerLegion vs Fluxo (Nuke)

Fluxo started by winning the pistol, but GamerLegion’s force buy immediately tied the score 1-1. Fluxo answered with their own force buy to reclaim the lead at 2-1. The back-and-forth continued as GamerLegion’s force tied it 2-2, then Fluxo won theirs for 3-2, before GamerLegion struck again to level it at 3-3.

GamerLegion finally put together consecutive rounds to go up 5-3, but Fluxo reduced the deficit after a chaotic round that ended in a decent 1v2 clutch, making it 5-4. The trading pattern returned, and GamerLegion reached halftime with a 7-5 advantage.

Fluxo won the second-half pistol and both follow-ups to jump ahead 8-7. This time, GamerLegion couldn’t win the force buy, and Fluxo chained four more rounds to reach an 11-7 lead before GamerLegion got their first T-side round. At 11-8, GamerLegion won a crucial force to make it 11-9.

Fluxo responded immediately, claimed a 12-9 lead and reached match point. GamerLegion needed three straight rounds to force overtime, but managed only one. Fluxo closed the game 13-10.
