Valve has officially launched Premier Season 4 for Counter-Strike 2. This update packs a punch with a fresh rotation of community maps, the return of a competitive staple, weapon tweaks, and brand-new cosmetic collections.
Here is everything you need to know about the update.
Season 4: The Medal Chase Begins
The leaderboard has reset. It is time to grind for your Season Four Medal. As with previous seasons, your medal’s appearance is determined by your performance:
- Color: Corresponds to the highest CS Rating (CSR) you achieve during the season.
- Bars: Reflect your total wins. You earn one bar for every 25 wins (up to five bars total).
Eligibility Requirements:
To claim your medal at the end of the season, you must have an account in good standing, at least 25 Premier match wins, and an active CSR when the season concludes.
Map Updates: Anubis & Community Maps
Anubis Returns
After a brief vacation, Anubis is back in the pool. Valve notes that the map comes with several gameplay adjustments, specifically hinting that it is “good news for fans of holes.”

Five new community-created maps have entered the game, offering everything from active volcanoes (Sanctum) to winding paths (Stronghold). Here is where you can play them:
| Map Name | Available Modes |

Check the full patch notes for the specific data values, but expect these weapons to feel slightly different in your loadout starting today.
Skins and Collections
The Armory: New Limited Edition
A new high-tier item has been added to The Armory: the AK-47 | Aphrodite.
- Design: Features mother-of-pearl accents and an amber patina.
- Variance: The skin varies in both wear and pattern, making each drop unique.

Two new collections are now available in your weekly drops. Valve describes them simply: “One has color and the other one does not.”
