By the end of a 26-10 thrashing against GamerLegion, Boombl4's side was laughing their way to the bank.

By the end of a 26-10 thrashing against GamerLegion, Boombl4’s side was laughing their way to the bank.

BetBoom showed to be one of the most exciting teams from Stage 1 of the Major, despite playing with a substitute. They have gone 4-0 in maps, with no matchup looking close.

They made GamerLegion, one of the favorites, look pedestrian. BetBoom kicked off their pick of Nuke with an absurd 11-1 T-side, with their captain Boombl4 fragging and calling brilliantly. While being the tactician, Boombl4 is the highest-rated player at the Major so far with a 1.48.

Despite falling behind 5-9 in opening kills, BetBoom consistently found the necessary kills and calls to win the map without any doubt. FL4MUS closed it 13-2 by killing Snax in the back, unaware.

GamerLegion fell apart on Ancient

GamerLegion started Ancient well, getting a dream 5-0 start, including a round where REZ got a 4k with the AWP as the T-side entry fragger.

However, BetBoom fought back into the game, and when it got close, they took complete control. Magnojez, one of the world’s most exciting rising stars, went for fight after fight, and was clinical.

BetBoom seemed to lose composure, with Boombl4 laughing after finding 3 exit kills with a MAC-10, and lost some rounds at the end. But it did not take them long to close out 2-0, 13-8 on Ancient.

Player of the Match: Magnojez

BetBoom as a whole was dominant, but nobody on the server seemed as comfortable as Magnojez. Touted as one of the rising aggressive riflers in the world, he showed why he was a cut above.
