Ax1Le Benched as BetBoom Reshapes CS2 Roster

Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov, once one of the top riflers in the world, has been benched by BetBoom.

Sergey “Ax1Le” Rykhtorov, once one of the top riflers in the world, has been benched by BetBoom. The decision marks a major shift for the team, as Ax1Le had been the most high-profile addition to the roster earlier this year after his move from Cloud9.

Ax1Le struggled to find consistency with BetBoom, averaging a 1.04 rating during his time on the active lineup. This is a sharp decline from the peak of his career, when he ranked among the top 5 players in HLTV’s global rankings in both 2021 and 2022.

BetBoom Brings In ArtFr0st and d1Ledez

To replace Ax1Le, BetBoom signed Daniil “d1Ledez” Kustov, who had been inactive since 9 Pandas benched their roster in April. d1Ledez brings solid experience and a stable track record, with a 1.13 average rating over nearly three years with his former team.

The team also added Artem “ArtFr0st” Kharitonov on a permanent basis after he stood in during FISSURE Playground 1. He impressed during that run, finishing with a 1.13 rating.
