The PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 playoffs have been finalized after Aurora beat Astralis 2-1 in the final 2-2 Swiss bracket match.
Astralis, however, were playing without dev1ce, with their coach ruggah stepping in as a stand-in after dev1ce fell ill with food poisoning.
Heading to playoffs
The two other teams that qualified for the playoffs today are Legacy, who beat FlyQuest 2-0, and GamerLegion, who defeated Gentle Mates 2-0.
With these three teams joining, the full playoff lineup for the PGL Masters Bucharest is now confirmed:

Coming into the tournament, Aurora and 3DMAX were the two highest-ranked teams and clear favorites. But with Aurora only just scraping into the playoffs after beating an Astralis side forced to use a stand-in, and 3DMAX exiting early at 1-3, the playoffs now look completely open for the taking.
