FURIA drop seven rounds in a 2-0 over a Jee-less TYLOO to keep FalleN’s farewell tour going

FURIA took Inferno 13-5 and Mirage 13-2 against a TYLOO side without their sick AWPer Jee, with all five players rated 1.43 or higher and FalleN at 28-14 after his 15-33 against NAVI. TYLOO are out of PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 at 1-3.

One defeat from going home after losses to NAVI and Spirit, FURIA took Inferno 13-5 and Mirage 13-2 against a TYLOO side still playing without their sick AWPer Jee. All five FURIA players finished with a rating of 1.43 or higher, FalleN went 28-14 two days after his 15-33 against NAVI, and TYLOO leave PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 with one win from four series.

Three rounds of worry

For three rounds on Tuesday evening, the elimination match looked like it might get uncomfortable for FURIA. TYLOO had picked Inferno, won the pistol round on the T side and walked into the B site twice more for a 3-0 lead. FURIA had started both maps of their 0-2 defeat to NAVI on Sunday 1-7 down, and it was starting to look familiar.

Then came FURIA’s first full buy. Instead of waiting for TYLOO, KSCERATO and molodoy kept their SMGs and ran straight down the middle of the map, won the round, and set the tone for everything after it. FURIA took eleven rounds in a row, nine of them before half-time. YEKINDAR spent the half at the bottom of Banana, where KSCERATO’s flashes and a molotov thrown behind him gave him three kills in a round more than once. TYLOO’s A attacks never found a way through the passive setups on the other side of the map, and most of FURIA’s rounds ended with four or five players alive.

Inferno finished 13-5. Mirage, FURIA’s pick, was over even faster. FURIA won the pistol round, went 7-1 up on the T side while two TYLOO players were still waiting for their first kill, and led 10-2 at the break. zhokiNg called a timeout, but TYLOO won only two rounds on the map, the last two of the first half, the second after Zero got the better of yuurih in a one-on-one. FURIA won all three rounds after the switch.

Five players, all above 1.40

The numbers are a different team from the one that lost to NAVI. In that series, not one FURIA player finished with more kills than deaths. On Tuesday, nobody on FURIA died more than 17 times in 33 rounds, and all five were rated between 1.43 and 1.57.

YEKINDAR led the server with a 1.57 rating and 95.1 ADR, after 24-30 against NAVI. yuurih went 26-12 with a KAST of 90.9%, the highest of the match. molodoy was 27-11, and the lack of an AWP on the other side suited him: with no long-range threat to respect, he could repeat peeks and hold angles that would normally get him punished.

FalleN’s turnaround was the biggest. Bucharest is the first of four events on what FURIA have named his final tour, and the opening weekend went badly for him: 15 kills and 33 deaths against NAVI, 6-18 on Ancient alone. Against TYLOO he was 11-4 early on Inferno, and ended the series at 28-14, the most kills on the server. His calling mattered as much. The mid rush in round four told TYLOO from the start that they would get no time to settle, and FURIA kept up the pressure for the rest of the series.

There was an old storyline under it too. As a ViCi Gaming player, zhokiNg met FalleN’s teams four times during his career and never came close to taking a series off them. Their fifth meeting, with zhokiNg now 32 and TYLOO’s head coach, went the same way.

A week TYLOO had to play shorthanded

TYLOO came to Bucharest as Asia’s qualifier and lost their first two series, to FUT and Spirit, before Jee was ruled out with chickenpox on Monday morning. zhokiNg, who had not played an official match since July 2025, took his place, and TYLOO responded with a 2-1 win over 9z built on fast rifle play and without using the AWP.

Against 9z, all four of TYLOO’s regular riflers finished with at least 40 kills. Against FURIA, only Moseyuh came close to his level, with 20 kills and 72.9 ADR. Zero, JamYoung and Mercury all stayed below 47 ADR, and zhokiNg ended on 5 kills and 31.3 ADR. Without an AWP and with a coach in the fifth slot, TYLOO needed their three riflers to win duels against a top-five team. They lost almost all of them.

The defeat does little damage to their Singapore hopes. HLTV’s Major invite simulator had TYLOO at 86.5% when it last updated, around the end of the match, third among the Asian teams chasing five places, and before the series it projected that a defeat would cost them only about two percentage points. In Valve’s Regional Standings, HLTV’s estimate on the match page takes three points off TYLOO, who stay 49th. Their next event, HyperX Retake Season 13 in Lisbon, starts on Thursday, with Jee’s return depending on his recovery.

One more best-of-three for FURIA

FURIA, who won the Thunderpick World Championship a week ago, now have two wins and two losses and one series left to reach the quarter-finals. The win keeps them alive but does not move them in Valve’s system, where HLTV’s estimate leaves them fifth.

On Wednesday they join Spirit, Liquid, Nemiga and The MongolZ in the last Swiss round, with the sixth team decided by Tuesday’s final match. Three of the six go to the playoffs, the other three go home. FURIA’s opponent and start time will be on our PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 page once the pairings are drawn.
