The ex-FUT AWPer will be manning the rifle while siuhy takes over as IGL.
Astralis have made mid-season adjustments after a slew of up-and-down results. They made official their signings of Nikita “cmtry” Samolotov and Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek to take over as a rifler and captain, respectively.
They will make their debut with the Astralis jersey tomorrow, Thursday the 14th of October, against Sashi Esports at Stake Pulse Beat III.
cmtry returns to his primary role
Though he made his claim to fame as the AWPer of FUT Esports during their meteoric rise from the academy levels, cmtry, the PGL Bucharest MVP winner, has likely made the choice to return to the rifle. He will get to return to his comfort zone, already having Love ‘phzy’ Smidebrant as the AWPer.
With his addition into Astralis, siuhy will also get a chance at redemption after a disastrous period leading Team Liquid. The Polish in-game leader said his results on Liquid “were never acceptable”, and will test his mettle by stepping into the shoes of Rasmus ‘HooXi’ Nielsen.
