Vitality overtake NAVI as the richest team in Counter-Strike history

The ESL Pro League Season 24 title lifted Vitality to the top of the all-time prize money list and added another set of records to their run.

The ESL Pro League Season 24 title lifted Vitality to the top of the all-time prize money list and added another set of records to their run.

Team Vitality‘s 3-0 win over MOUZ in the ESL Pro League Season 24 Grand Final on Sunday made them the highest-earning organization in Counter-Strike history.

According to Liquipedia, Vitality have now won $13,886,593 in prize money. That puts them $204,133 ahead of Natus Vincere, who stand on $13,682,460.

The $295,000 first-place prize from Katowice was the deciding factor. Vitality entered the final on $13,591,593, around $91,000 behind NAVI.

First team to win four Pro League titles

Katowice also gave Vitality their fourth ESL Pro League title, following Season 16 in 2022 and Seasons 21 and 22 in 2025. No other organization has won the league more than three times.

Natus Vincere, MOUZ, Astralis and Fnatic are tied on three titles each. Astralis and Fnatic won their third titles in 2020, when Season 11 and Season 12 were played online in regional divisions without a global final.

It is Vitality’s third Pro League title in the last four seasons. The only interruption was Natus Vincere’s Season 23 win in March.

MOUZ pushed the final to overtime on Dust2

The 3-0 scoreline does not tell the full story of the grand final. Vitality won Cache 13-8 and Inferno 13-7, but MOUZ reached match point first on Dust2 before Vitality forced overtime and closed out the map 16-12.

A record sixth title for ropz

Robin ‘ropz‘ Kool won his sixth ESL Pro League title, which is a record. The Estonian has now won the league with three different organizations:

  • MOUZ: Season 10 (2019)
  • FaZe Clan: Season 15 and Season 17
  • Vitality: Season 21, Season 22 and Season 24

Mathieu ‘ZywOo‘ Herbaut was named MVP of the event, the 34th MVP award of his career, according to HLTV. He finished the Grand Final with a 1.65 rating.

The win for Vitality was the 31st trophy in Vitality’s Counter-Strike history, which would put them level with Natus Vincere.

What comes next

Vitality’s next event is PGL Bucharest. A predicted VRS update published after the final has Vitality first and MOUZ second, although Valve’s rankings only update officially once a month.
