NAVI lost to Aurora and MOUZ, only winning one map out of five, and are predicted to drop to #25 on the VRS, potentially missing the Singapore Major.
With their 1-2 loss against MOUZ at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026, NAVI now is within mathematical possibility of missing the PGL Singapore Major in November, according to two VRS experts.
According to both Udknud and MischiefCS2 on X, NAVI can miss their first CS:GO/CS2 Major in over 12 years of competition. The latter put them at a two in three chance of reaching the Major, according to their prediction.
NAVI from Major favorites to missing two events
BLAST Rivals and PGL Bucharest in 2027 are two events taking place in November 2026 and January 2027, respectively, but NAVI will not be in the invite range for either of them. NAVI are predicted to fall all the way to #25 in the Global VRS ranking by the invite date with their loss to MOUZ.
The invites for both these events will go out on October 5th, but NAVI will be nowehere close to receiving an invite for BLAST Rivals, including only the top eight. They will be shy of going to Bucharest as well, a home event for Mihai ‘iM’ Ivan, needing to be in the top 20 for that one.
From declining roster changes to repeated failure
NAVI, a two-time tournament winner this year and an organization that has reached every Counter-Strike Major since Dreamhack Winter 2013, is quickly falling out of relevancy after being a favorite for the Major only two months ago.
Members of NAVI revealed they were exploring changing the roster after their disappointing IEM Cologne Major, but decided to keep their roster intact. Since then, NAVI have endured repeated failures, including a thrashing at the hands of Legacy at the Esports World Cup.
NAVI’s roster has remained with four of its core players since early 2024, refusing to make roster changes at every turn, despite a massive dry spell in 2025, and their massive drop-off this year.
