FaZe got past The Mongolz after a 3-12 comeback, and Astralis defeated paiN in a tough series.
BLAST Bounty has reached its semi-final stage after FaZe and Astralis defeated their respective quarter-final opponents.
After defeating paiN Gaming, Astralis had first choice and selected MOUZ, while FaZe was left with Spirit.
FaZe beat The Mongolz with map 1 comeback
FaZe kicked off their series at a 2-10 deficit against The Mongolz, who just made roster changes after losing another of their primary talents to BC.Game. They had a flying start on Nuke getting a massive CT side and looked to close out in the second half going 12-3 up.
Ryan ‘Neityu’ Aubry was having a nightmare, getting repeatedly picked off with little to no impact. It was his comeback into the map that propelled FaZe to victory, helping support the carries that won the map 16-12, with a 12-round winning streak.
FaZe would go onto lose the next map, but held their nerve in the decider to reach their first semi-final of 2026.
Astralis survive battle against paiN
Astralis’s international roster lived to fight another day after an intense three-map series against paiN with multiple overtimes.
After a topsy-turvy first season, Astralis’s squad changed their supporting staff massively with new coaching hires. With this win, powered by strong fragging performances across the board, they take a step in the right direction by reaching another semi-final.
