BLAST brings 32 of the world's premier CS2 rosters together for BLAST Bounty Season 2 2026.

Competitive Counter-Strike heads to Malta. BLAST brings 32 of the world’s premier CS2 rosters together for BLAST Bounty Season 2 2026. Teams will battle through an online European stage to reach the eight-team LAN finals, competing in a dynamic bounty hunting format with a $1,150,000 USD total prize pool.

Participating Teams

The event will feature 32 teams in the online stage. The specific invites and qualified teams are yet to be finalized for the Summer season. Lower-ranked teams will draft their opponents from the higher-seeded invites, with bounties placed on the higher-ranked squads. The top eight teams will advance to the LAN finals in Malta.

Tournament Format

Online Stage (July 21 to July 26, 2026):

Format: 32 teams. Teams must win two Best of 3 (Bo3) series to qualify for the LAN finals.

Draft: Lower-seeded teams (seeds 17 to 32) select their opponents from the higher-seeded teams.

LAN Finals (July 30 to August 2, 2026):

Format: Single Elimination bracket featuring the 8 qualified teams.

Match Length: Quarterfinals and Semifinals are Best of 3 (Bo3).

Grand Final: Best of 5 (Bo5) showdown to crown the champion.

Prize Distribution ($1,150,000 USD Total Pool)

Instead of traditional fixed prize placements, teams earn bounties by defeating their opponents.

Base Bounty: A baseline bounty is assigned to each team based on their seeding.

Winning a match secures 50% of the opponent’s bounty as a guaranteed cash prize.

The remaining 50% carries over and is added to the winning team’s total bounty value.

A Club Share is also distributed among the participating organizations depending on placement.
