flameZ on Falcons loss: “Individually, the headshots were a bit missing”

One of the best players of 2026 so far lamented his performance on the final map of Vitality’s Major.

Shahar ‘flameZ’ Shushan said he was disappointed with his own performance against Falcons on the decider map, Dust2. He only had 11 kills, which was costly in the end as they lost 11-13.

[I don’t think] we played that bad. On the other hand, individually the headshots were a bit missing. Against a team like Falcons, karrigan going through a smoke, it’s hard to come back.

flameZ was referring to one of two full eco rounds that Falcons won, including a 2k from karrigan with a USP-S. Those rounds meant that Vitality will not equal Astralis’s streak of three Majors.

It’s definitely disappointing [to not win the third], for me especially with the way I played on the last map. In the end we gotta look back at the season, and we should be happy with it.

flameZ said that the “mission is still the same” despite not reaching that record.

If we’re still dominant, we keep winning trophies, it’s gonna balance out in the end.
