Boombl4 claims the highest rating as BetBoom, and B8 advance from Stage 1

The initial three rounds of the IEM Cologne Major Stage 1 have concluded, revealing a clear statistical hierarchy among the competing players. BetBoom and B8 have secured direct qualification to Stage 2 after posting 3-0 records, heavily driven by the offensive output of their core members.

BetBoom and B8 establish early dominance

Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov is currently the highest-rated player at the tournament. The BetBoom in-game leader has recorded a 1.48 rating and a 1.41 K/D ratio over four maps, alongside a +17 kill-death difference. His performance has been central to the Russian squad’s progression.

He is joined by three teammates in the top 15 list. Timur “FL4MUS” Marev sits at a 1.29 rating, Daniil “d1Ledez” Kustov holds a 1.28 rating, and Kirill “Magnojez” Rodnov secured a 1.24 rating.

B8 also earned an early spot in the next stage of the Major. Alexey “alex666” Yarmoshchuk has been their primary statistical driver, securing a 1.34 rating across four maps and 109 rounds of play.

Other players from teams currently holding 2-1 records have also delivered substantial numbers. BIG representatives Gleb “gr1ks” Gazin and Benjamin “blameF” Bremer posted ratings of 1.38 and 1.37, respectively.

Statistical outliers face elimination scenarios

High individual ratings do not guarantee team success in the Swiss format. Corey “nettik” Browne from FlyQuest and Tyson “asap” Paterson from THUNDER dOWNUNDER both find themselves in the 1-2 pool, facing potential elimination. Despite their teams dropping two series, nettik maintains a 1.36 rating across 77 rounds, while asap has produced a 1.32 rating over 63 rounds.

Keith “NAF” Markovic is in an identical situation with Liquid. While the North American organization has struggled out of the gate, NAF remains a reliable presence on the server, producing a 1.26 rating and a +9 kill-death difference across three maps.
