Vitality go 7-0 to claim their first PGL trophy

With their win here, Vitality maintain a 24-3 record in maps since IEM Krakow. The desk could not help but admit they are the best team ever.

Team Vitality is showing that their dominance is not just a thing from 2025. They are continuing their already unprecendented legacy, winning 87.5% of their maps since IEM Krakow 2026 started.

At PGL Cluj-Napoca, they went through the playoffs without losing a single map, with a 7-0 record.

Richard Lewis: “The greatest team of all time”

On the analyst desk, Richard Lewis said that we are looking at the greatest team of all time.

No matter what pressure is applied to them, they’re able to pull something out: individual brilliance, insane tactics… Whatever is needed to get over the finish line.

Alex ‘Mauisnake’ Ellenberg highlighted how every time Vitality wins, it’s a unique opportunity to see the world’s best captain and potentially the best player: Dan ‘apEX’ Madesclaire and Mathieu ‘ZywOo’ Herbaut.

ZywOo was below Shahar ‘flameZ’ Shushan, but did leave behind a beautiful and crucial 1v2 spray transfer. Vitality were down 6-11 in the third map, but pulled off another unlikely comeback with that.

apEX pays respects to PARIVISION

Starting from #84 in the world in 2025, PARIVISION battled against all odds to now be one of the top teams in the world. It’s such an impressive run from a rookie team, that apEX couldn’t help but praise them, even after winning 3-0.

“[PARIVISION] have success everywhere they go, that’s beautiful to see.”

Dzhami ‘Jame’ Ali’s team of only 21 years of age gave Vitality a challenge on Overpass, and Inferno was within reach.

“They have rookies giving their best, and it was not easy to play them today.”

PARIVISION took MOUZ and Falcons down on their way to the final. Still, Vitality remains as the #1 team by far, and Duncan ‘Thorin’ Shields doesn’t think anyone today can tackle them.
